Position Summary:
The Systems Analyst – Clinical Applications is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting and training on a variety of clinical systems. Working with staff and physicians, the analyst will participate in determining the needs and requirements for clinical applications to support a safe and healthy client-centred environment that contributes to positive outcomes for our patients. The analyst will produce training materials, deliver training and support clinicians. The analyst will be responsible for, OmniCenter, CPOE, eMAR, IVAR and clinical documentation.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:

University or College degree in health related or informatics field or a combination of education, training and experience required.

Regulated Health Professional in good standing with their licensing body.

Trained on Omnicell and QuadraMed systems preferred.

Experience with Dragon Voice Recognition software preferred.

2 years’ experience (minimum) developing and maintaining clinical information systems preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Applying project management and change management principles.
- Experience developing training material, delivering training and supporting end users, clinical end users.
- Proficient on the use of Microsoft Office applications and tools.
- Experience coordinating adult education and training in a healthcare and /or information technology setting.
- Ability to assess the training needs of end users and design effective training materials and techniques for individuals with different levels of computer literacy.
- Working with a broad range of stakeholders to determine system requirements.
- Planning, building, testing and implementing solutions to specification.
- Designing use cases and executing test plans.
